Tattoo artist Johan ”Bonk Tattoo”, from Huckleberry Tattoo, returns to The Viking Museum! Last fall’s tattoo weekend was a huge success and those who missed it will now have a new chance to get a Viking-style tattoo, the weekend of March 14-March 16. Johan tattoos smaller motifs, using traditional “poke technique”.

For our smallest visitors (and for those who would like to try out a tattoo before making it permanent) Johan, in collaboration with the museum, has developed a series of temporary Viking themed tattoos, that are available for purchase in the museum shop. There will also be a themed guided tour (in Swedish) about the history of tattoos, that is included in the entrance fee, on Saturday March 15th and Sunday March 16th at 15.30.
