ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Follow the Vikings project will aim to make the transactional Viking heritage accessible and understandable to a world-wide audience.

It will boost economies, help knowledge transfer and quality improvement at heritage sites, and maintain Europe as the No. 1 Global Heritage Tourism Destination.

 

THE PARTNERS

The project has over 15 full partners and 10 associate partners who are all members of Destination Viking Association

FOLLOW THE VIKINGS ROADSHOW

 

A contemporary telling of the story of warrior, Egil Skalgrimson, the voyage he took and the poem he wrote to save his life.

Performed live at 13 important Viking locations across Europe, the show will include actors, musicians  dancers and  film makers to create a visual celebration of Viking heritage.
