See the nine historic attractions of "The Rune Kingdom"

Runriket

Runriket is a collaboration between Täby municipality and Vallentuna municipality, just outside Stockholm in Sweden.

The runic kingdom stretches 3.5 km around Lake Vallentuna and is the world's most runestone - densely populated area. Here you can visit nine historical sites and see examples of different types of runic carvings from the Viking Age.

The gate to Runriket consists of Jarlabanke's bridge, which is one of the area's most famous places. Here you can read and learn history about the runes and take part in the moving lives of people who lived on the site during that time.

Runriket is located about 2.5 km north of Stockholm. The gate to Runriket, Jarlabanke's bridge, is located in Täby church village.
