Exhibitions at Gotlands Museum tell the rich and interesting Viking Age world of Gotland. The museum is the most visited regional museum with as many as 345, 000 visitors per year.
Visitors can learn about the religious life, dress and costume of Viking Age men and women as well as Viking ships, travels and warfare in an exhibition on unique picture stones. The Museum explores the contents and story behind the largest silver hoard ever found, weighing almost 70kg.
